And if so, what do you do about it??? B/w 8-12 pm my newborn cries on and off....she nurses, then cries, then nurses, then cries, falls asleep for a few minutes then cries again. Do you ladies have any tips on how to soothe her? Or should I be doing something different during the day to keep her more calm at night. She is a little over a month old.

Mine did and it was right about the time my DH got home from work. We didn't do anything about it other than try to make DS comfy.

DS has it between 7-830pm.

Every. Single. Night.

It started around 5 weeks and it is still going strong at 3 months.

My DD had it but white noise and Baby Einstein helped a lot.

With DS... not so much.

Once the clock strikes 630-7pm, my 7wo twins go insane... It's like I flipped a switch. I usually rock or nurse them and put them to bed for the night. I feel like its their way f telling me that they are done with the day. My older DS was the same way and his bedtime then became 630pm.

My dd (4 weeks) has it between 4 and 6 am...she fusses in her sleep and simply wants to nurse and be held. I just go with it because nothing else seems to help other than that and swaddling.

Omg, yes!! I'm a first time mom with an almost 3 week old DD. You described it perfectly: nurses, nods off, wakes, cries, sucks on the pacifier. She has it during different times of the day, or at night. Today, it's like yours and has been fussy since before 8a and still going strong. Sigh.

Not really sure what to do other than nurse, change diaper, use the pacifier, and walking her around seems to help. I completely feel your pain. I'm hoping it's something she'll outgrow sooner rather than later. Hang in there!
