my little boy is turning 6 month on the 8th and his 25 lbs now.
This is a perfect example why you should not make yourself crazy with this. (Not that you were.) My girls will be 2 in sept and each weigh 22 lbs. at 6 months they were 10 lbs. as long as your child is growing everyone should be happy 
I agree. This is why I say as long as they are following the curve they are good.
My ds is 19m and barely 22 lbs. but dr says he's perfect. Lean guy!!!

Nicholas was 12lbs 15oz at his 2 month appt.... so I can't tell you

My youngest was a preemie (so 9lbs at 6 months) so i was of course so focused on her weight. My doctor said to care about the growth curve not the pounds. Babies will vary greatly depending on where they start out.
My daugter is 4 now and is in the 50th percentile for weight.

my babies have consistently been 5 and 10th percentiles for weight but 70th percentile for height! Dr is not concerned at all...says they are just lean.
eventhough both are below average the one who is at the 10th percentile seems so much chunkier than her sister that everyone thinks she's chubby!

6 month old weight
17lbs 4oz a little before 6 months. I wouldn't stress it! The doctor will say something to you if s/he is concerned!
