6 month old weight
How much does your 6 month old weigh? DD has always been a bit on the small side and dr said she is slightly below average but nothing to be concerned about at all. She is 13.8. Just trying to get a comparison.

DD was 15lbs 6oz at her 5 month...50th percentile... she goes to the doctor next week for her 6 month appointment
ETA: she was 7lbs 9 oz at birth

DS was 16 lb 4 oz at 4 month visit.
we weighed him home at 5 months and he was 18 exaclty with a clean diaper on.
he has been in the 75th %tile for weight from the start

Probably like 12-5 and 13 or something like that. They are only 5th and 10th percentile (so below average) but are growing steadily on their curve and are fine. Some babies are just smaller.

6 month old weight
DS was 14lbs 4oz at his 6 month check up. He was up to 15lbs 4oz at his 7 month! I have a feeling something may have been wrong with their scale when I went at 6 months. He is in the 10-15th percentile. Just a smaller kid...he's on BM & solids 2-3x a day.

Their actual weight is not such a big deal....Drs just want them so stay on the same curve.
My DS has been hovering around the 5th percentile for weight since birth. Dr doesn't care....said he's just a lean guy. As long as they are eating the # is not a big deal.

At her last appt she was 5 1/2 mos. She weighed 20.4 lbs. 
She's a lovely chubby girl. She was born 9 lbs 7 oz and was 10 days early, so she was destined to be a big baby.
She is growing along the curve and is charting nicely. She's in the 95%+ percentile, practically off the charts. No concerns by me or her pediatrician.

DS was 18.3 at his 6 month visit, which put him in the 70th percentile. But he's tall and in the 80th percentile for height.

This is a perfect example why you should not make yourself crazy with this. (Not that you were.) My girls will be 2 in sept and each weigh 22 lbs. at 6 months they were 10 lbs. as long as your child is growing everyone should be happy

Dd was about 14lbs at her 6 month checkup. Te percentile doesn't matter as much as they grow with their curve (I.e not drop or gain percentile a super rapidly)
