Crashing- water breaking
I was just wondering where and what time of day your water broke. I keep imagining all the different scenarios that might happen for me if mine were to break and was just wondering what your story was?

730 at night. I was sitting on the couch and at first it felt like a discharge. When I got to bathroom it was a trickle like I was peeing, mine was def not a gush like some people say.

Crashing- water breaking
8:50 am on a Saturday morning. Got up to go pee, went back into bed and then I felt trickling that I had no control over. Got to the bathroom as fast as I could. The gushing came later on throughout labor for me. Oh, and contractions didn't start until about noon.
I'm currently 37 1/2 weeks and keep wondering when and how this one will start.

945 on a Sunday am. I went to go to the bathroom and came back into kitchen to tell dh I didn't think I felt up to taking the kids to the st patty's day parade and it broke.
It wasn't a huge gush but enough to be sure. It continued to leak until I got to hospital and when they examined me then I felt a huge gush.

I went into labor around 9am and was 4 cm dilated when I got to the hospital but my water never broke. It doesn't always break.

In the elevator on the way up to Labor and delivery. I wasn't a gush. I felt something trickling down my leg.

This is exactly what happened to me... It literally jolted me out of a deep sleep. I woke up with the urge "to go" and when I went to the bathroom, I lost my plug and my water gushed out and continued all the way to the hospital.

With my first two DC, my water didn't break until well into labor. I was in transition with my second and it broke when I pushed with an urge. With my third, I was 9cm when my midwife artificially broke it. Immediately went to 10cm and she was born 15 min later.
My first two were inductions but my third, I had bloody show at 12:45am on the 11th day past EDD and contractions started right after.
Not all labors start with water breaking!

9pm I felt like I had to pee. It was trickling then stopped. This continued to happen on and off for almost an hour. I was sleeping and ran to the bathroom with a gush an hour later.

i had just put my DD to bed and was lying down in my bed texting. it was about 845 pm. i heard and felt a POP. it wasnt until i rolled over and got up that the water started to come out

Same here. I went into labor around 11:30pm - got to the hospital around 3am, was 3cm. Water didn't break at all during labor, but gushed out when I was pushing. (TMI sorry!)

Crashing- water breaking
7pm with DD1 while I was walking up the stairs. Was 1-2 cm when I got to the hospital and had her at 4:16am. No contractions before hand. Just some back pain throughout the day.
Ds was 7 weeks early so I just was in labor. The Dr broke my water at 9 cm
DD2 it broke while I was sleeping at 2:15am. She was born an hour later. No signs or contractions at all

DS I was home, laughing on the couch. Poured out as if I peed myself but bloody and different.
DD, dr broke it in hospital after I was in labor.

My water breaking was my biggest fear, I had 2 plastic covers on my mattress. Around 2AM I get up to pee, as I am climbing into bed I hear POP! and I did a crazy matrix move to go from almost laying down to jumping up standing and it just kept gushing out! DH spent a half hour wrapping the passenger seat in garbage bags and towels LOL

7:30pm on a Wednesday night. Got up to pee, had a trickle and then after I finished peeing stood up and started gushing and wouldn't stop

Around 9AM on a Sunday. Loading the breakfast dishes into the dishwasher. I had some trickling earlier, but, at 9 it was a bit more. All the way to the hospital I had leakage.
