When did your baby stop spitting up? Dix it gradually get better or just suddenly stop???

Ped said it peaks at 4 months. DS is 5 months, has not gotten worse since 4 months but not really getting better yet... Maybe just a little.

DS didn't stop til 11 months.. Our ped said it usually stops around 11 months when babies cruise and are more upright most of the day.

Re: Spitting up

DD still spit up quite a bit at 5 and even 6 months. I'd say it stopped completely by 9 months.

Christina, Gianna spits up a lot still too. Then other times she won't spit up at all. She has to wear bibs all the time!!

Exactly this for us too.
She was weaned off the reflux meds around then.

Spitting up

DD stopped at exactly 6 1/2 months. It was one of the happiest days of my life.

DS stopped around 6-7 months. He was a "happy spitter", then one day I realized, he hasn't been spitting up. He spit up less and leas after we switched his formula (similac sensitive for spit up).

DS was a happy spitter, no meds. I would mix cereal in his pumped bottles which helped a bit. It really stopped almost immediately when he started food. GL!!
