Polar Express in NJ
I know it's really early but tickets go on sale soon! Since it's a bit of drive we're probably going to stay over. What else is there to do in the area? I think Crayola is nearby but just looking for some other suggestions. TIA!

Re: Polar Express in NJ
We were very underwhelmed by it. Not what we expected at all :( we went with a few other families and they all felt the same way. I hear some of the other surrounding poar express trips are nice though!

Re: Polar Express in NJ
That's the reviews that I've been hearing We were thinking of trying the CT christmas one but DS just loves the PE. We just watched it yesterday! All the other PE ones are just too far.

The one in CT. is not Polar Express but if you do an evening train, it is EXTREMELY similar. The kids get hot chocolate, their ticket gets punched, the kids wear pajamas, etc. They just don't use the words "Polar Express".

Even though it's not the Polar Express (it's called the North Pole Express) I think it's pretty great. They perform "The Night Before Christmas" and Santa and Mrs Clause are there too. If you can do the first class ticket it's even more comfortable because every ticket holder gets his or her own swivel seat.
