Pottery Barn bedding for less
I want o out my younger DS in a big boy bed and my older DS is use for an upgrade. I love the PB bedding, but it's so expensive! It will cost me almost $400 to get them both new comforters and sheets and that's a bit much. Anyone have any suggestions of where to look to find similar styles for a little less money?

Check out the pottery barn outlet. They always have full sets every time I go.

I do the quilts - but not the sheets .......because I couldn't find anything else I really loved (and the outlet didn't have what I wanted)
I'm not spending $120 on a set of sheets for a 4 year old - sorry kid, I love ya, but MY sheets don't cost that much!!
Also, if you create a registry, you get 10% off .......

Yes the outlet has a great selection of bedding for both twin and doubles. We got DS his bedding there.

I just went to the outlet last week to get some crib bedding... they had a HUGE selection for bigger kids beds!

Pottery Barn bedding for less
Outlet all the way!! I bought my son's quilt and sheets there a couple of years ago and they were a fraction of the retail price, and both have held up so nicely!

Re: Pottery Barn bedding for less
I bought the quilt and the pillow sham only and got regular sheets elsewhere. I got soft cotton and jersey knit sheets in coordinating colors to the bedding. I waited for a coupon to reduce the price. HTH

Do they only have older styles in the outlet store? I'm obsessed with the airplane sheets, but $89 for sheets is a lot. I live in White Plains, so Tanger is at least an hour an a half away from me.

I might be going there tomorrow. If I do, I'll check and let you know.

Try amazon. I typed in airplane bedding and got a bunch of cute sets (under $100).
Another option is buy the duvet and get cheap sheets elsewhere.

If you get a chance that would be great! I would really appreciate it.

I think I'm actually going to buy solid comforters and buy decorative sheets. That way as my boys get older I can make changes without needing to keep buying new comforters. But I'm going o heck on amazon now, thanks for the tip.

Just left the store and they didn't have the airplane pattern. Much more for girls than boys.

Re: Pottery Barn bedding for less
Home Goods often has the quilt bedding style that pottery barn has... you have to be lucky though, of course.

They did! I wasn't looking for it though, so I'm not sure how much inventory they had.

I was just at Homegoods today, and thought of this thread. They had airplane bedding there.
