Has anyone done Lowes Build and Grow?
I signed 3 1/2 year old DS for Saturday since they are building RC from Toy Story but, I was wondering what the appropriate age was for these things? It doesn't say on the website.

I have done it with my 4 year old ds. At that age you will be the one building the toy but you ds can add stickers and use the hammer to hit nails but for the most part you will be putting the project together.

Has anyone done Lowes Build and Grow?
My rec is put it together without the nails first, sometimes it's tricky.
You will be putting most of it together. The projects are cute.

Thanks for the info - it looked cute and he loves RC so I thought it might be fun.

we are regulars! Lol, I sign DH and DS up for EVERYONE!
anyway, I would say to Do it themselves, 5 is more appropriate. BUt DS has been going on and off since 3 or 4. DH helps him alot but its a great time for them.
Also if its better, they will give you the kit to take home.

Never done Lowes, but DH has brought DS to Home Depot. THe first Saturday of the month they usually do something similar for kids. DS was 3 and now 4 when started. Like PP said you will do most of the work, but they do enjoy it. From Home Depot they get an apron each time too and DS loves to show off what he made at Show and Tell at school
