Talk to me about the 4 mo sleep regression
Pretty sure ds is going through it
He wakes up randomly throughout the night
Never to eat
He usually has broken out of his swaddle or needs the paci
I don't want I create bad habits
How did you get through it?

DS never went through it.
But if your son is still swaddled at 4 months, and if he's breaking out of it, it may be time to stop swaddling. DS was waking up and breaking out of his and as soon as I stopped swaddling her slept better than before.

I'm sure this is part of it but I am having a hard time getting him to sleep without it!

we stopped swaddling DD just under 3 months (sooner than i wanted to) because she was breaking out of it. She slept better without it because she didn't wake herself up all night long from trying to break free.
ETA: she's still not a great sleep so I don't have much advice, but she did start sleeping better unswaddled. Maybe it would help.

we will be 4 months tomorrow and we stopped swaddling a while ago b/c she was breaking out of it. She had no problem in the sleep sack BUT we are waking a lot. I got out of bed 4 times last to give the paci back. I'm exhausted. I don't know what it is. I guess part regression. I wish I had an answer or suggestion but I'm looking for them myself haha

DS never went through sleep regression. Any time he had sleep issues it was due to illness or teeth.
DS never slept for the first 3-4 months so any sleep was a great thing.

. I feel like this is where we are headed! He takes his paci out of his mouth and then gets frustrated. I just put him down awake without a swaddle and I am gonna just see what happens.

i'm trying to decide what I should do. Should I let her go without ging in to give the paci and see if she settles on her own or what to do.

I wouldnt jump a the first whim per but after a few I always go in and give the pacifier
