Beach Vacation---what to pack

We are going to cape cod with our 4 boys, and another family. Our resort is right on the beach...just looking for suggestions on what to bring that might not be the "norm"

Thanks!

Baby powder. Get the sand off legs and arms eaisly. A bunch of beach towels, we got a uv protectant pop up party tent. It's great. No need for a million umbrellas.

Definitely baby powder.
How old are your boys? Boogie boards are great to use on the Cape bc the waves are calm enough to ride w/o fear but still lots of fun!

Where are you staying? I searched and searched for a resort on the water on the Cape but didn't find anything great (in our price range!).

Great idea about boogie boards...I used to always use them on the cape!

We are staying at one of the Red Jacket Resorts...they have so many activities for the kids.

We have also stayed at the Ocean Mist...it is basically just a hotel on the beach with a pool (no activities) but the rooms are big...they are lofts and come with tiny kitchen....fridge micro and stove.

The blow up pool is fantastic! We have a small one that's easy to inflate. We fill it up and DS has a blast!
