did you get christening photos done? if so where? or did you hire a photographer to take pics of LO in their christening gown?

Nope. We didn't feel it was a necessity. We just took pics ourselves.

Same here. DD godfather is a photographer. But he was there enjoying the party and not working. Lol.

I had a photographer come to the party and take pics. It was a relief for me because I could enjoy the party without worry about taking pics.

My cousin's girlfriend is into photography so I asked her to take photos throughout the day. She did a great job - nothing fancy but she captured the memories- and we gave her a gift card as a gift.

I wished I had hired someone but we ended up having her photos done the next day at jc penny with a groupon.

Yes we did. For at home/getting her ready and the ceremony. We skipped the party part, the other stuff was what was important for us and I didn't want my family missing out on the ceremony trying to get pics. We used and LOVE Jennifer Wilbur. We have used her since for all our formal shoots. I have a few pics on an album on here if you'd like to see.

Yes we actually got a photo & video package. I had both kids christening's at a catering hall & I wanted to make sure they captured every moment. It even included a photo album with the proofs I picked.
ETA: We used Riccardo Productions.

We went to picture people with a groupon. They came out ok. DD wasn't very smiley that day.

I contemplated it because im the one that always takes the pictures... i took most of her pics then at the church my mom took pics with my camera... and she did a good job.

We hired a photographer to come to our house while we dressed him and to photograph the ceremony....don't regret a single penny spent- SO worth it! I didn't want to worry about taking photos and got to relax and enjoy everything and now have gorgeous, artistic photos that DS will treasure when he is older.
