Moms of 2 LO's

DS and Chat Icon will be 23 months apart...and I'm trying to decide what kind of diaper bag to get. I definitely need a new one and I'm debating between a large diaper bag (really want marc by marc jacobs diaper bag if DH is ok with treating myself!! but something this size link ) or a backpack diaper bag similar to this which is smaller (link )

what did you feel you needed with 2 LO's? I like the backpack because i will have my hands free but I'm not sure if I'm better off going bigger with carrying stuff for two now.

I have 2 exactly 23 months apart and we use a backpack - you need as many hands as you can get! DD1 doesn't need anything but a diaper (and hopefully not even that in 2 days!) so I don't think you need anything bigger. I am not one to carry too much though - I only travel with the necessities.

I have the petunia pickle bottom diaper bag that I love. My boys are 25 months apart. Now older, but for my 2 yr old I keep diapers and extra undies for my 4 yr old. I love it! I use it as a backpack only now. So easy and I get a lot of compliments.

I also have 2 LO's that are 23 months apart as well.
I just used the same diaper bag that I had with DD 1.

Mia Bossi Diaper bag

It is plenty of room and DD 1 was potty trained shortly after number 2 arrived.

I just got a PPB bag for Mother's Day...DD is 2 and will be closer to 3 when Chat Icon gets here. I LOVE this bag bc it can be worn as a back pack and can fit lots of stuff in it (I carry around way too much stuff, but it still all fits)! Plus, these bags are gorgeous!

I got mine on EBay, New w/ tags, for a great price!!

I wouldnt spend that kind of money on a diaper bag. I'd treat myself to purse not a diaper bag. but that is just me.

I've had a few...
My all time favorite is this cheapy one (especially for the summer)...http://www.walmart.com/ip/Jeep-Clamshell-Diaper-Bag/9870627

It opens up HUGE like a clamshell. So you can see everything in it. No digging around.
I have a setup on each side, bathingsuits, clothes, diapers, wipe and still a ton of room.

I keep it in the car. Im not really a carry a diaper bag person. If we are just out and about, I will usually shove a diaper & pack of wipes in my purse. Leave the diaper bag in the car.
That's why I vote for a new purse :)

I used my Vera Bradley diaper bag that I had for DS 1 (Vera Bradley, they were 27 months apart). If we were going someplace where I needed more, I used a separate tote as well.

My LOs are just under 2.5 years apart and I got the JuJuBe BFF bag! I LOVE it! It is so roomy, has lots of pockets to keep everything organized, can be worn as a messenger style bag or backpack and is machine washable. I"m an overpacker by nature Chat Icon so this bag was perfect for me!
