Bug spray/repellant for 15 month old?
Is it safe? Any reccs? There are so many Mosquitos out during the day, and I want to protect DS. Thx

I've used both Jason brand bug spray and the BabyGanics brand. They're both DEET free. Just an fyi, your child will smell like a giant citronella candle when using the BabyGanics one  but if it keeps the mosquitoes away, that's fine with me!

Bug spray/repellant for 15 month old?
I just ordered Burts Bees Spray Insect Repel. All natural. Haven't used it yet tho.

Bug spray/repellant for 15 month old?
My ped told me last visit I could use insect repellent on my 15 month old. She went through the DEET levels that it should fall into quickly but, it seems that there is DEET free as per PPs.
One thing she said was make sure I wash it off as soon as we are in the house.

I put some on DS last weekend because he's being eaten alive and no one wanted to hold him he smelled so bad, lol

I just bought Bubble and Bee Insect Spray
Some of the safe mosquito repellents seem to attract bees.
Check out safemama as she has a great cheat sheet

We got the Avon Skin So Soft bug repellent and sunscreen. So far, I'm not impressed. DEET and Picardin (sp?) are both proven safe for kids and our ped said it's ok to use, so I think I may be using OFF Family soon because DD is getting eaten alive and has welts ALL over!

I use the OFF Family on my boys and it's fine I really just spray their clothes.
