Spin off: flying with baby - supplies
We are traveling with dd in August. She will be 5m.
When you travelled, did you bring your car seat, car seat base, and snap and go?!
Where do they all go? How do you make sure they stay clean?
Sorry if its a dumb question - ftm :)

I brought the car seat and snap and go - no base. The car seat can be installed directly into the car so we just did that.
For the car seat, I used a gate check bag (like a laundry bag) but, I just gate checked the Snap N Go as is (for my Maclaren I have a gate check bag as well though).

I used the car seat in the snap and go and gate checked both. You can buy gate check bags from bru or bbb. Mine were fine wuthout it. Thr car seat got a lil dirty but not too bad.

We always brought our base. Our Graco carseat fit into the gate check bag with base attached.
It was much easier to bring the base, esp if you'll be in and out of the car to the snap and go. Then you don't have to reinstall the seat every single time you get into the car.

We brought car seat and base. We also borrowed a stroller from my sister that the car seat could snap on but that was also a regular stroller. We didn't want home to have to be in car seat all the time, so it worked out better than snap and go.

We brought our base, it all fit into the car seat bag.
We also bought a stroller for the trip - we had been thinking of getting on anyway. It worked out fine for us.
