Where to go for ear piercing?
If your ped doesn't do it, where did you go to get your DD ears pierced?
DD is 5 months and not sure where to go. Is it better to be done with a gun or needle at that age? Or does it not matter?

I had it done at the drs. office. If I have a baby girl in the future I'd just go to piercing pagoda and have both ears done at once.

We went to piercing pagoda in smithaven mall.. They were great and pierced DD's ears at the same time. ( as long as 2 people are
working). I would call ahead and make sure they'll be 2 people there when you're gonna go.

solomon's jewlers in Roslyn. There were great and used a numbing cream. While the cream set in we went for ice cream next door. She didn't feel a thing and was so proud!
ETA- you need to make sure stacy is working when you go and they DON'T do 2 ears at once but again, it didn't hurt her. She cried for literally 10 seconds, and I think it's because she didn't like a stranger so close to her

Where to go for ear piercing?
Dr. Vicki Jetter in Baldwin. She was fabulous! Measured 10 times to make sure it was perfect. They had numbing gel with tape for an hour, then we went back and they didn't even cry!

Is this your regular pediatrician or a dr that does ear piercing for anyone?

I just got my 5 month old DDs ears pierced at Piercing Pagoda in Massapequa Mall. My thoughts are that they do it so frequently they have to be good at it. LOL - and they were great.

Ok pricing pagoda it is. Will go to Roosevelt field. We are going on a small vacation for a few days. Does it matter if I do it before or after you think?

They give you the stuff to clean her ears 2x a day. My DD was completely fine the next day. I'd think you can do it before your trip!

Same. They knew what they were doing, and do it all the time so I completely trusted them.
Oh, and they gave us the stuff to clean her ears, but I didn't even use it very regularly and her ears never had an issue. So I wouldn't worry about going away right afterward.
