IMO it does, especially when feeding organic. I don't know about regular baby food but the organic pouches are well over $1 each. I can buy a huge bag of carrots for like $3 or $4. Other fruits/veggies will obviously be more expensive but it still saves a ton of money.

yes... when I first started making it, for each thing I made, I figured out what a "jar" of my homemade food would have "cost" me... and it was always like 1/2 the price of buying jars/pouches etc

I feel like I spend a ton of $ on organic produce but if you freeze the batches, right now I do everything in 2 oz containers it saves soo much money rather than opening a pouch (1 time use and sometimes LO might refuse it) or a jar (usually only 2 uses, right?). I feel like making it does save money.
