Im a nervous wreck!

Tomorrow is my DCs first day of summer camp and its field trip day! DC only goes 2 days a week and Tuesday happens to be trip day. They are going to the aquarium (other trips will be to adventureland, splash splash and Hoyt Farm. Im a WRECK! DC is in early elementary school and I am SO SO SO nervous about letting DC go, on a trip, in a large group, to a busy place with a bunch of people in charge of DC I don't know from a hole in the wall!

I know lots of people who have sent their kids here, and have spoken to all of them. They all rave about it and their kids were all returned to them safely and in one piece but still, Im SO nervous about letting DC go off with people Ive never met in a large group, and hoping DC doesn't get lost!

I did put a list of all of our #s in DC camp bag so if DC gets lost, DC can give it to an employee or as Ive always taught DC, another mom with her kids so they call us.

Im sure DC will be just fine, but still. Im a wreck! Someone talk me down here, LOL!

I'd go and wear a disguise I'd be the same as you. Honestly, I don't think I'll be sending my dd on any of the trips. She wanders and I'm neurotic. She's 5 1/2, going into 1st.

Do you know the ratio of adults to children? How old and what experience do those in charge have?

I wouldn't be thrilled with the idea either to be honest. I've been in places the camps go to, and honestly the supervision is usually lacking. Counselors texting, socializing with each other, etc. I would probably throw on a baseball cap, and spy on them LOL. I'm sure your son will be fine though.
