breastfeed babies when did you introduce solids?
Just wondering when you started with cereal? 5months 6 months?

We started with veggies at 6 months and about a week or two later introduced oatmeal and then fruits. At 7.5 months that's still the only solids she gets. I will probably skip rice and other cereals all together.

i started giving DS oatmeal between 5-6 months and then slowly introduced fruits and veggies by color.

breastfeed babies when did you introduce solids?
we skipped cereal and went straight to solids at 6mo. She reacted poorly though, so after a week, we went back to BM only (that was just this week, so she's still BM only for the time being). We are going to try again next week with some veggies.

Started at 6 months w veggies and fruits. Dr said to start w orange colors first so we did carrot, yams, sweet potato, apples, pears, avocado, banana, butternut squash.
I use wholesomebabyfoods.com for ideas.

I waited until she was interested and ready. 5m3w exactly, she grabbed my banana and tried to gnaw on it lol... so we started. Skipped cereals with DD2. I bounce back and forth btw fruits and veggies. The only thing she really dislikes is mango.

4 months dd was showing signs she was ready. Sitting up unassisted and was interested in food and making the chewing motion when we were eating.

Our plan with both was to wait until 6 months for solids. Our first had a huge drop on the weight chart at his 4 month visit, so our ped recommended starting oatmeal at that point, which we did. We waited until 6 months for fruits and veggies though. With our second, we started all solids around 6.5 months.
