quick question about sesame place
I was told today that if i take my son, who will be 2 years old just DAYS after our planned visit to sesame, that he won't be able to get on most of the rides. Is this true?
this would completely ruin his birthday trip...we were planning on getting a hotel for 2 nights but if he can't go on most of the rides I'm not going to spend $500 plus just to walk in circles and see elmo.
I think i remember alot of ladies on here telling me you took your children at that age and had a great time...please let me know.

Re: quick question about sesame place
we first took DS when he was 20mo old. there is a wading pool, little sprinkler area, and Im pretty sure you can do some of the bigger water rides with him,b/c DH went on went of the tubing slides with DS.
They have a bouncy area, merry go round, and I believe most of the rides like the elmo flying fish you can ride with the child if they are under a certain height. My son is 3.5 now and doesn't go on all the rides there, but I know I see parents with little ones going on those rides together. (the bigger roller coaster, flying swings probably not at that age).
between all of that and the live shows, I think thats a good day for a 2yr old.

Sesame Place
check this and the list of rides on their site. it gives you restrictions. like i mentioned, this one says under 42" must ride with companion. so as long as someone can ride with the child, you should be fine.

thank you so much!!! that helped alot! I was starting to panic b I had nothing else planned...but it seems like it will be fine.
Has anybody gone for 4th of july? that's my sons bday weekend and I'm sure it will be very crowded...but we honestly will never be able to go other than a holiday or weekend so I guess we just need to get used to packed parks.

Re: quick question about sesame place
I just went with my son who is almost 3 and my nephew who turned 2 today - there was a ton for them to do! They loved the water stuff especially since we went on a hot day. They also loved the regular rides as well. We got there Saturday morning and left Sunday afternoon. Plenty of time
