You could also just put a towel down so she's not sitting directly on the tub.

My DH would go into the shower with a bathing suit on and I would help wash our daughter while he held her in the shower. There was a tub but I didn't want to put her in it. The second time we went away she was older and took a bath in the in room Jacuzzi after I cleaned it.
