HR Question
My husband just accepted a management position offer within his company, he is currently in the union. Our health insurance is remaining the same however the premiums are doubling as of his first day. I am pretty sure that this qualifies as a life change event to get us on my coverage but wanted to confirm. I've spoken with my benefit people and they confirmed it is as long as I can prove loss ov coverage. My question is if we are being offered the same coverage and say no does this still hold true?
thanks!

HR Question
Any loss of coverage would qualify as a life changing event and allow you to enroll in your coverage...however I would want to speak with his HR to find out if he can drop his coverage because of the increase. Does his promotion coincide with open enrollment?
