How far in advance are c-sections scheduled?

Still 9 weeks to go and wondering when my planned c-section will be scheduled or if its too early to ask!

At my OB office they begin to schedule after 26 weeks, but my OB had given me a tentative date back when I was 16 weeks.

If I recall correctly from when I use to book them. NS Manhasset was 2 months in advanced. The doctor often gave a date earlier since he knew when we was on call but we still had to call exactly 8 weeks to the day in order to try to get one of the spots since they are limited.

I had my c-section at 39 weeks, it was scheduled about 2 weeks before.

I am going at 39 weeks 2 days and they scheduled it about 2 months ahead.

Mine was scheduled about 2.5 weeks before.

we know i'm having a c section. dr took care of it all about 2 months prior to my due date.

I was just going to ask my dr. if she could schedule it this Friday. I'll be two days shy of 35 weeks. She told me originally that she was scheduling it for 38 weeks. Everyone is asking me for a date and it is making me nuts. I figure it will be about 3 weeks out so she should be able to give me a date by now.

They scheduled me for 38 weeks at around 30 weeks.

At my last appointment which was between 12-13 weeks my doctor made a note to schedule mine. The woman behind the desk even said to come find her next time and she will confirm it because she makes the appointment. I was shocked they did it so early,

we scheduled mine at about 31weeks for 39w (actually 38w6d)

They told me 30 week.s I called North Shore myself!

She told me 30w is a great time.

I had scheduled for 40 weeks mine at 35 weeks as DD was breech. Thankfully, I didn't need it. But they said, unless it is an emergency, they won't do it any earlier that 39 weeks.

I'm due August 3 and will most likely be scheduled for July 30, 31 or aug 1. I should hear back from my office any day now with my date (I'm 33.5 weeks)

They told me yesterday that North Shore doesn't schedule until around 8 weeks in advance. They're scheduling mine now for 8/13...Approx 32w

I posted earlier but yesterday my OB was having the front desk call the hospital to get a set date. My OB said LIJ surgical calendar tends to fill up quickly.
