Does the meat go with lunch or dinner?
DD's are 7 months old and Ped said to introduce lean meats.... but he didn't say at lunch or dinner? Where would you put them? Here is their schedule:
7am: cereal, fruit/yogurt, bottle
11:30am: veggies, fruit, bottle
5:00pm: cereal, fruit/yogurt, bottle

I have no idea if it makes a difference to a baby or not, but i'd introduce at dinner rather than lunch just because that's when i'd be more likely to eat meat myself.

AJ hated meats so I would give her little bits at every meal. She didnt know or care.
There hasn't been and never will be a set food for any meal. Its a meal, period. Keeping her full and providing healthy options were my only concerns. I didn't stress about which meal was what. So she can and will have fruit for dinner and noodles for breakfast, pancakes for dinner and fish for lunch.
Whatever works.
Like I said she HATED puree'd meats so she at so little of it, I had to pretty much provide it at every meal. Once she got table food it was easier. She liked ground beef and chicken so we could give her those. Again breakfast, lunch or dinner made no difference.

It makes no difference. You can do breakfast if you want. They have no clue what are typical meals.

i always tried to introduce new stuff in the morning or afternoon purely to avoid any disruption of sleep should they have a reaction, or it just not sit well with them. Otherwise, I'd say do it whenever you remember or whenever is convenient!
