Toys for a 16 month old?
What do you consider the essential toys for a 16 month old? Don't assume they have any toys already. Looking for lots of ideas. Thanks!

Re: Toys for a 16 month old?
my dd loves the shape sorter I think I have the fisher price one. She doesn't actually sort the shapes by herself yet, but she loves to dump them out and then put them back in with the cover off.
She is also getting into stuffed animals that sing or talk. We have an Elmo who talks and sings about shapes and colors and a giraffe that sings the alphabet (I think its Carters brand).

Push toys like shopping carts. Ride on toys like a pirate ship or truck. My girl loves a tea set. My boy loves cars.

Phone chargers, water bottles, and filled dog food bowls. Lol.
Seriously, he likes cars, his sit and spin, water table, and little singing helicopter. And LOVES his own chair.

Water bowls too. Sorry I could not resist. He is really into books though. And he likes to take spoons out of the drawer too and pretend his blocks are bowls.
