Photo Albums

Ok so I am finally printing out all of my daughters pictures so I can put them in albums. She is now 3 ;o( (overwhelmed) so I have so many to print. I am starting with her picture from the hospital and working my way up. My question is "Did you get pink album for your daughter pictures? first 3 years? first year only pink? I was thinking about buying regular brown nice leather ones and adding the picture in them since its a big album(400 pictures) and than doing a scrap book for only her first year. What does everyone do with all the pictures? Color albums or plain brown ones. Please help so sonfused what to do.

Id do a printed one in pink but a regular photo one in brown leather to keep in the living room

i think its great that you are doing this! i already have a ton of pictures of dd and shes only 3 months...the thought of printing and organizing already drives me crazy lol

i would go with a pink one for the first year and then go with basic brown leather ones for the rest

I did pretty ones for both kids for the first year. After that, brown albums. We've got a TON of albums!

I also do snapfish albums by the season, one for the birth & one for the pregnancy (baby shower, etc). Pick the best of the pictures & put them in some kind of order.

what about doing a digital album instead?

I started dd2's recently. It's easy once a month to upload the pics and add them to any layout I need. This 1 will be her first year. Then I will see what to do after

For dd1, who is 3, I did make a scrapbook. It was just a plain scrapbook, and I did just the first year. So far. I would like to get back into it. The next one will be important, big thnings for the next few years.

i bought a plain brown album for his first year and actually needed a 2nd to finish the 1st year because i printed too many pictures! i couldn't find the same brown album again so i used a blue one that someone had given me. i wasn't happy about it because i wanted them to match, but i had it so i used it.

i've thought about doing a making a scrapbook on shutterfly, but since i already made an album for his first year i figured i would keep going or maybe start with the 2nd year in a digital album. i can't decide! i'm such a picture person though i couldn't NOT have photo albums!
