Did I do a bad thing?

Spinoff to no ac- dd is 8 months. dds room is next to ours downstairs. She had a fan but no ac. Both of our acs in the house had to be cut into our walls bc of the windows we have.
So dds room was 78/79. So I put her pack n play in our room with the ac.
Dh said we r going backwards bc she has been sleeping in her own room since 2 months. She's also a light sleeper. But I felt it was better for her to be cooler instead of too hot while we try to figure the whole ac situation out. What do u guys think?
Dh wants to look into ductless ac. Does anyone have this and can recommend any companies?

Technically, when babies sleep it should be a few degrees cooler than normal... so I think you did the right thing :O) I have both my girls in my room, sleeping in our bed so maybe Im not the best person to answer. LOL

You definitely did the right thing!! If DS' room didn't have an AC he would be in our room.

I have ductless heating and ac and LOVE IT! it is so economical, virtually silent and has a ton of different settings. I actually like it better than central air. filters are so easy to clean and we can adjust the temp in each room. we keep dd's on 70, ours on 68. I highly recommend our units. we have the Carrier xpower. any hvac can install them.

Re: Did I do a bad thing?

A night or 2 won't make a difference. My girls are 7.5 mo and I've had 1 in my room to CIO in the rnp and the other in my room because she was sick and I wanted to keep an eye on her. Both went back in their cribs fine.

Are you using the monitor temp? Mine will say 83 but I go in and it's nice and cool in there. Same thing this winter. It said 57 when our heat broke but I know it was less. I think they are a few degrees off. 3-4 maybe.

agreed!

we put ductless in our basement last summer, we used Apple. They were great, fast, clean and neat. They gave us a better price than the other company we had come in.
