Which would you rather...work related
I am already thinking about next summer as we are trying to plan a big family trip to the outerbanks.
I work in a school and typically have summers off. I was thinking about working part time next summer as I will be limited in what I can do with 3 young kids alone.
Would your rather work:
3 days a week for six weeks
or
5 days a week for 3 weeks.

this is tough because there a lot of things to consider but I would choose 5 days a week for 3 weeks, since it's shorter.

I think it also depends on childcare I would choose 3days for 6weeks because I could ind someone for the 3days, 5 days in the summer would be hard unless they are in camp

Is it the same number of hours in the end and is the pay the same?

no but the pay isn't a concern really...doing it more for my sanity! Working 3 weeks would be 3 days less

Since you say it's for sanity's sake (which I can relate to with 3 kids under 2), I would probably do the 3 days a week for 6 weeks. I think that has the best of both. You get time with the kids and also get to get out of the house and be a grown up.

If it is for sanity I would do the 3 days a week. And then it is also more days and more pay!
