friendly 2 year old
is it ok for a 2 year old to be so friendly? my dc is so excited to see new adults and children. just today he met another 2 year old and immediately wants to hold his hand and play. he's always smiling at people in stores and waving. it could be my doing because whenever I'd see someone smiling or waving at him I always say "say hello." it scares me because he doesnt really get the concept of strangers yet, he is 26 months.

My son was just like that at the same age. I think it is totally normal.. He would walk up to random kids and hug them!!!

DD is the same. She is super social and friendly. I am not concerned.

My DS is now 5. He was the same way...and mostly is still, although we are seriously talking to him about strangers now...at least trying to make him aware and slightly cautious without scaring him. I think it's very common for little kids to be so friendly.
