Bouce Party Food Question...

Suggestions for ordering food for a bday party at a bounce place.

So, I went from the 25 package to 15. I was counting a bunch of kids under 2 and we also got a bunch of families that couldn't come.
Anyway, when he said under 2 I recounted and came up with 15. THe majority of the people invited are our friends who have kids the same age as us (between 5 and 1 yr olds). Only a few from his class so that I have a feeling is a mom only coming.

How much food? He suggest 3 pies. The kids are separate. THe thing is I know the kids under 2 will eat and my friend's DH's can eat too. Should I just order 1 more pie to be safe?
What size cake? I am bringing a cake in along with goody bags.
Thanks

Re: Bouce Party Food Question...

We had 11 kids and about 18 adults. I ordered 4 pies and a lot of soda for the adults. We had nothing left! We did a half a sheet cake from BJ's. We had some left over...
The food for the kids is included in the party package.

Re: Bouce Party Food Question...

pies for childrens parties are usually cut in 16ths instead of the regular 8 slices...some children will ask for another slice and some won't (the older the child the more likely they will ask for more) so let's say 15 kids are there for the party and they each ask for 2 servings...that's less than the 2 pies...you still have 1 left...that could be for the 2 yr olds. If you're looking to feed the adults too then you definitely need more. I'd do 3 cut in 16th's and 2 regular for the adults. Most parents don't eat at the kids parties so two should cover it unless you have a huge family coming and you might even go home with a pie. (I host parties at a bounce house place on weekends)

The 3 pies is separate from the kids. Kids is included, but not sure if that's just 1 1/2 slice per child and this does not include the kids under 2 (which I'm sure the parents will give them a slice). I know my 22 month old isn't counted bc he told me not to count him, but can eat 2 regular size slices. LOL
I think I will add 1 and maybe even 2 more so there's enough for everyone

You can probably take home the left overs... Where are you having the party at?

For what it's worth, we were just at a kids party that had about 15 children and 25ish adults. They ordered 4 pies which went very quickly. Some adults got food, but many didn't, and wanted some. And since kids eat slower, some wanted more afterwards, but it was all gone.

In my opinion, it's always better to over order than under. You can always take it home and freeze it. I'd order enough for the parents and kids to eat. At this party, with the number or kids and adults, they should've probably had 7 pies.

Yup. You're right. I'd rather have more than less. Extra pizza to take home isn't a bad thing.
Thanks all for the advise. Ill get 2 more large pies.
