Target brand diapers
I'm considering switching to Target brand diapers. Up until now, we've only used Pampers. I have no issues with Pampers, in fact we have been very happy with them. It's just that they get really pricey. Our older son is now out of diapers, so our diaper spending has been cut in half, which is nice. But I've heard a number of people rave about Target diapers, and today my SIL was saying they just switched to them. So out of curiosity, I checked the Target website and am blown away by the price difference. So just wondering what the general feeling is about their effectiveness.

They are much more absorbent. I also like the added elastic on the back of them. Swaddlers doesn't have that.

I always used brand names but tried the target brand. They work great. I could have saved so much money if I switched earlier.

I use them on occassion and they are good!
Have you tried Luvs? I think they are actually cheaper and made by same company as Pampers.

Target brand diapers
Target diapers are great! I even use them overnight with a doubler from BRU for ds.
Was buying them for DD#2 because they were on sale, I had coupons and got a $20 gift card back so they worked out to be cheaper per diaper then target diapers.
Recently DD#2 has had a BEAST of a diaper rash. Was using a prescription steroid cream and a prescription anti fungal powder too. Nothing was working. Her tush was red raw and had open sores so everytime she went to the bathroom she would scream in pain. Went to the Dr for her 4 month check up and another Dr in the practice who hadn't seen her when I had originally brought her in for the rash, suggested to me to switch away from the pampers swaddlers because the color change line could be reacting with her urine and causing issues.
I switched to target that day and now 4 days later, after 3 weeks of this rash. ... It's all gone except a small irritated area that is red!

I wasn't a fan. I felt they were stiff and not as soft as other brands.
I actually got Luvs cheaper than Target brand at BJs. They
were great!!

I agree, I too feel they are stiff. I saw that BabyGanics is now making a brand of diapers in BRU, I am considering trying those out b/c we usually do Pampers and they are a lot of money.

I used pampers swaddlers when DD was a newborn but switched to target once she got to size 1.. I LOVE them.. they are crazy absorbent and the tabs never break... to me the icing on the cake is that they are cheaper, but even if they weren't I would still prefer them over some other name brands. Unfortunatly they do not make overnight diapers so I do use Huggies for their overnight diapers.

I use Target in the day and Costco for night time diapers. Works great. Trying to potty train my youngest so I can get rid of diapers altogether.

I switched DS to Target brand diapers when Pampers got too expensive for us too. That was abut 18 months ago. He did better with them then any other brand diaper. Less leaks.. Almost no leaks actually.. Very rare that he leaks at night now. He is in size 6 at night. He is in Pull Ups during the day (Target brand too)...
