Babies and gas

DD has been taking gas drops with each of her bottles because she has bad gas. I give her .6 ml after each bottle. Lately it seems like her gas has gotten worse and I don't even know if the drops are working anymore. We have also tried the legs moving like a bike. I feel so bad seeing her so uncomfortable. She goes for her 4 month check up this week but was going to ask what else I can do Besides gas drops. Anyone have this problem?

Is she breastfed or formula? Have you tried alimentum or nutrmigen? It sounds as if theres an issue digesting that gas relief drops cannot help. I went through this and i changed to alimentum and had a brand new baby.

What type of bottles are you using? Have you tried changing brands? Sometimes that helps. We just switched to Playtex drop-ins and they have made a big difference, but I know every baby is different. Some people swear by Dr.Browns or Ventaire.
Are you using powder formula or RTF? If you are using powder, are you making individual bottles? The shaking/mixing can put a lot of air in the formula.
With DS1, we made a pitcher of formula at a time, and put the drops right in the bottle instead of giving them orally.
DS2 was BF, and for a while, I would give him the drops before AND after each feeding. (I think you can give up to 12 doses.)
It's so hard having a gassy baby. Hang in there!

Try changing bottles and maybe a sensitive formula. We really like the Dr. Browns bottles.

For DS it comes and goes, he'll go a few days where he's not gassy at all and then have a day or two that it is non stop.
