I have 3 kids, ages 9, 7 and 15 months. I have a Buick Enclave with Captain's chairs in the second row so my oldest can access the 3rd row where he sits. The 3rd row is a full 3rd row, meaning it seats adults with plenty of head room and leg room. I always have my City Mini stroller in the back. Sometimes, I fold down a section of the 3rd row for more trunk space when I grocery shop, but I can leave the other part up so my son still has his seat back there! I am on my second one already, I just upgraded to the newer model back in March.

I have the Hyundai Veracruz, which has a third row. All three fit in the second row with their car seats though. My 7-year old just moved to the third row in his booster seat.
It's a great SUV. Lots of trunk space.

We have 3 and just got the 7 passenger Santa Fe and it is awesome. It has the captains chairs in the middle and a full 3rd row in the back. We looked at a lot of cars and this provided the most room without having to get a mini van. An adult would have no problem accessing the 3rd row. We have a carseat in each captain chair and my dd sits in the third row in her booster.
