Exersaucer vs jumperoo

My DS is 4 months and loves to try to move and grab things. He has great head control but can't sit up by himself. I have a jumperoo and I read you can't use that until at least 5 months. I have read the exersaucer can be used at 4 months. Is it worth having both? Can he even use exersaucer if he can't sit up by himself? Thanks!

IMO yes. If that's not an option I'd go with the exersaucer.

DS was using the jumperoo since about 3 months and the exersaucer since about 4 months old.

He loves both but prefers the jumperoo.

We use the exersaucer when we don't want him to be over-stimulated by jumping all the time.

You definitely don't need both though

I didn't get a jumperoo for DD, but she did have an exersaucer and it is so worth it. She LOVED it. And they don't need to be able to sit up to go in it. They have this infant insert thing that sort of holds them up.

Jumparoo. We put a pillow under it and a towel behind since they are a little small. (pillow is still under). I think its more to do. My girls didnt know to spin in the exercaucer til recently

We only had an exersaucer, which DD enjoyed, but she loved her jumperoo at day care! I didn't want both because they take up a lot of space, but I think if I ever have another DC, we might consider a jumperoo.

I had the jumperoo and dd loveeeed it. I never had the exersaucer so i cant compare. But i will say it takes a lot of space so if your short on space like i was i would say just get one.

We had both. He loved the exersaucer but he never took to the jumperoo.

No u don't need both. We went with the jumperoo bc it looked for fun! We started putting DD in around 4 mos with a blanket behind her. She didn't get what to do in there till 5-6 months though.

Also my sis has an exersaucer and we put DD in there and she always tries to jump and when it doesn't really bounce she looks at me like what the heck?! She likes the jumping action!

we had both and our twins far preferred the exersaucer over the jumperoo. Also our exersaucer converts into a little table thing (really like two halves of the circle broken apart in an S shape) which means months after the jumperoo was in storage, we are still playing with the exersaucer.

I've been using the jumperoo since about 3.5 months and she loves it. It didn't say an age on it, just up to 25lbs. We put a folded up blanket underneath when she was too short lol
