Complete opposites....
Are your kids alike or total opposites?
My boys are 25 months apart. My older DS will be 4 the end of the month. He is neat (doesn't like messes or to get dirty), more passive, very picky eater, never been attached to a stuffed animal and was a pacifier addict (gave it up when he turned 3).... etc.
DS2 is 22 months. He has to be everywhere with his little bear he calls baby, sucks his thumb, loves to get dirty, eats everything and not really too much afraid of things.
I call them Felix and Oscar. They get along well, and like most brothers can fight just as well too.
Wondering if anyone else has complete opposites.

My girls are opposites !
They are 14m apart (ages 3 and 2) and my oldest DD IS Calm, quiet, can sit still for more than 5min, hates to eat and it's always a project for her to eat any meal. Hates to go to sleep (always hated to nap) and is addicted to her pillow. Carries it around with her everywhere. She's NOT a people person. Is super shy (although a lot better now that she's older)
My youngest DD is insane. She doesn't NOT stop moving from the moment she wakes up. She climbs out of her crib, she jumps on the couch, climbs furniture, will eat every moment of everyday if I let her, will eat anything I put in front of her. She loves to sleep! Doesn't have much of an addiction to anything (except the paci but that's fading fast) she laughs and talks to anybody that's around and interested.

Funny. Kind of similiar to my boys. DS1 can sit forever coloring, reading or puzzles. He has a great attention span. DS2 CANNOT sit still. Goes on and on till he goes to sleep. DS2 also loves his sleep. DS1 hated to nap and when he did he woke up moody. DS2 is happy when he gets up. DS1 also gets up in the middle of the night and doesn't sleep as well as his little brother.

Yes, total opposites. I have one normal child and one child who's completely out of her f'n mind. Then I have one that's a combination of the first two

My twins are total opposites. My DS is more needy, sensitive and has severe tantrums and my DD is laid back and mommy's little helper. She is just very easy going.

My girls are night and day. Complete opposites in just about every aspect. One is blonde and the other brunette.
They couldn't be more different.

Ds1 never had a lovey, no binky, no thumb sucking
He hated his crib was always so mature and wel behaved and very independent. Never needed to tell him anything twice. He is very emotional, soft spoken and shy. Picky eater
Ds2 is INSANE!! He has been a monster since he could stand at 9 months old. He gets into everything is loud throws tantrums but is so mushy and the other hand. Loves to cuddle and hug. He loves his binky and loves his crib. Eats everything
Ds3 is to little right now. He is so happy takes a binky and is very chill at the moment

My boys are 10.5 months apart (2.5, 3.5) & complete opposites.
My oldest is very content, able to entertain himself, is a follower, picky eater, great sleeper, loves playing in sand, playdoh, paint. Was never attached to anything but his blanket.
My youngest is always on the go, climber, extremely adventureous, leader, always looking to get into trouble, eats everything & anything, not a great sleeper, aleays wants someone to plsy, attached to me, was a big time binky baby & attached.to his pillow & rag.

It goes both ways with my boys. DS1 is a difficult kid. Always has been and probably always will be. He was colic and even now at 6.5, he will still throw tantrums. That said, he's also the MOST entertaining child in the world. He's more of the balls to the wall type of kid- no fear. He's also a decent sized kid and a great eater. DS2 is more happy go lucky. He can entertain himself, which is something my older DS is only starting to do. And he's a scaredy cat! Always has been. He's much smaller then my older one. And even though he eats lots of different foods, he has two bites and he's done.
But in terms of similarities, they are both extremely friendly and outgoing. There is no shyness about either of them. They talk to anyone and make friend's everywhere they go. They are both alpha males, which leads to a lot of fighting.  But I love that they are both string willed.
