computer program for vioce recorder

do you no if there is a program on the computer that i can record someones vioce and it types it out for you..

or i have a recorder just want to plug it into computer and have a program type it out for me.

I haven't seen a voice-to-text program yet that was worth using. You'll spend more time trying to figure out what the program thought was said than if you just convert it yourself. We have a $$ module in our corporate phone system (many thousands of people) that tries to translate, and that does a horrendous job. If a huge corporate tool can't handle even the basics, I can't image an affordable system being worth while. I've played with a couple different one, but more as entertainment, since it's funny reading what came out of the conversion....
