dance moms--come in!!
2 questions!!
Do any of you know where to get a fake hair bun? I want to attach it to her head w/o having to use her hair for the bun!
and I want to put a little bit of makeup on DD but I would like a 'healthier' brand without all the chemicals and stuff!! Any suggestions? She has sensitive skin as well! TIA!

For makeup, I've used eyeshadow and mascara from Almay for DD's last 2 recitals.
No help on hair buns!

Encore Dance in Hicksville had 2 bun thingys I was looking at to HELP create the bun with their own hair... IDK if that helps.

There's a kiosk at Walt Whitman that sells hair clips and they have hair pieces too. I'm almost certain they have the buns.

I got DD's hair piece of a long curly ponytail, at the beauty store next to Wicker's in Hicksville. It was $14 and looks awesome. I will try to attach pics.
eta- i love the way this one attaches too, has a net that goes around a bun in her hair and then a draw string to pull. Really strong hold. Image Attachment(s):
