Crawling and hard wood floors
My DD is nowhere near close to this but I have heard children with hard wood floors in the house are late crawlers. My DD physical therapist recommended when the time comes that I buy those interlocking mats. Just wondering what other suggestions there might be?

We did have a small area where we put the foam mats but there are hardwood floors throughout my entire house. DS crawled at 6 months so I don't believe the late crawling thing so much

Same.
No issues with hard floors. I did put some foam mats in her play area but not out of concern for learning to crawl or walk.

I was worried about the wood floors and got the foam mats for DD. She is starting to crawl now and I can't keep her on the mat! She has no problems with the floor whatsoever!
ETA: I'd definitely recommend the foam mat anyway. It's so nice to have a soft spot for her to play, especially when she wasn't sitting well yet.
