Amoxicillan disrupting your LO sleeping patterns?
DD had a class 1 allergy to amox. Nothing too bad, just a rash. However this winter she got so sick :( that she was not responding to Zithromax and then next choice would have been biaxin. Being that would have been worse than a rash we decided to try the amox again and she seems to have outgrown it..... But- I notice when she is on it she wakes up more often and it up earlier- yesterday was 440!
Has anyone else's LO had this? Tia

Amoxicillan disrupting your LO sleeping patterns?
is that what is causing DS to wake up almost an hour earlier than usual!? He had an ear infection last week and is taking amoxicillan for the first time ever. today is day 7 and is almost done with it. all week he has been up around 5:30-6, when he can usually sleep until 7:30 and let's DH and I get ready for work in peace! i also noticed a small "rash" on his chest and back, just small red dots and figured it's from all the meds he's been taking. should i be concerned?

I would mention it to your doctor. My DD got a rash 7 days after starting it. For her it was on her forearms and her cheeks would get very very red. He could outgrow it, but you may want to mention (because sometimes it can get worse)

thanks! we actually have a follow up appointment on monday so i'll talk to them about it then.
