Car seat Dilema
I needa little advice from working moms with multiples.... DS is out growing his infant seat and I need to bump him up to a convertible seat, my dd is only turning 3 so too small of a booster.
Right now we have a 4 convertible seats... 1 in each grand parents car, a main one in my car and an "extra" for my husband/ the nanny's car. I really do not want to have 6 car seats however the nanny takes the kids out alot and switching the seats in and out of our cars daily would be a pain...
I thought about taking the 2 back from our parents however they both take the kids often and we will already have to swap out one for them when they take the kids. (plus their seats were cheap extras and are not very comfortable).
Do I switch out the seats everyday or doi suck it up and purchase 2 more?

i would purchase 2 more to avoid constantly swapping.. you can get a cosco scenera from walmart for $40, i have one its really not bad either. it also got good safety reviews.

I would purchase 4 new seats.
I needed three seats and instead of getting convertible seats, I got 3 - 3 in 1 seats for my almost 3 year old. It has a harness and then converts into a high back and regular booster. I have the Graco Argos but, I wouldn't recommend it since it's hard to buckle and the straps are a pain to adjust (although I am getting used to it and think about the price difference between that and the Britax x3 when I start to complain).

Car seat Dilema
I would get new seats. Switching them all the time would be a pain and if you're in a rush it might not get installed as securely as it should be.

I have 3 within 2 years
we added a few cosco scerna in the mix - I used them for nannies car and have them when we travel
my mom and dh kept their convertible seats
Diono car seat - convertibles - bough for my car highest rate narrow seat - I could fit two Diono and one britax across my backseat
only mine and the nannies car had enough car seats to take them all any place - now if my mom takes them all - she borrows my car
