I went and liked him. My daughter broke her foot and my other daughter had a cyst on her ankle.

We saw him in the Huntington office. We had a good experience. I had read prior that he didn't have a good bedside manner with kids, but I found him to be nice enough, but more importantly to me, knowledgeable.

I have been to both. For me, Bethpage is more conveniently located, so that's where I go now. But I think he is only there on Mondays.

I went to Huntington - try to get the first appointment of the day -when I Had that one it was not bad but middle of the day appointment - I waited over an 1.5 hours to for my 13 month old son to be seen

If you have a really little one who needs a sonogram instead of an xray, you can only do that at Huntington. We had a long wait there, but were pleased with Dr. Lewis when we sought a 2nd opinion for hip dysplasia. My ped warned us that he had a poor bedside manner, but I found him very knowledgeable. He explained things well, but was a little dry. DH took DD for a follow up in Bethpage, and that was fine too.

This was my experience exactly only I had a terribly long wait in Bethpage and seem to get in and out of the Huntington location pretty quickly.
He isn't the most personable guy, but he is totally on his game and I would recommend him fully.
ETA: I also find his Huntington location to be more "kid friendly" as they have children's videos/movies playing and in the Bethpage office I believe he shares the office space with a few other practioners.

About a month ago took dd to see him for her year check up in the huntington office. It was our second time there. We got called into the room very fast, the pa came in very fast examined her and than we waited for xray and dr, which took the longest. We were there prob close to 3 hours.
Once again we had a great experience with him. He was excellent with dd. He was very informative and knowledgeable.
We chose the huntington location because we were able to get an appointment sooner.

Thank you everyone for answering....My daughter is in-toeing and my Ped wants a second opinion. I appreciate the feedback and feel a bit better knowing about his bedside manner! I guess the reality is as long as he's knowledgeable the rest isn't important!

We went to the huntington office. He was very good with my DS and all though he is not overly friendly he was very warm and caring. He found a fracture that had been missed by pm peds.
