Swimming diapers
I was at the store today and noticed the little swimmer diapers smallest size is 16lbs...dd is only 12. Will these be too big in her? I plan to have her in the pool next month (going on vacation) and I don't think normal diapers hold up in the pool, do they? Do I just get the small size swimmers and hope they don't fall off dd?

They should fit. But you can also get the cloth swimming diaper thing too.

My DD was smaller than the weight on them too and it was fine on her.
Regular diapers will swell up with water and get very heavy and fall apart.

swim diapers do NOT hold pee... holds in poop.
if you can get the cloth ones, they may fit better, but again no swim diaper will hold in pee

DS used the small all last summer and he was well under the weight.

we use I play swim diapers these we used them for the twins last summer and just ordered for this summer. THey are GREAT!!!! and worth their weight in gold if you are going to be swimming often.

They will be fine. DD is 1, wears the largest ones. They fit tight and go on like undies!

i saw these in walgreens the other day for $8. i had one last year and wasn't sure if i should get another one for this year too. i used both the disposable and reusable swim diapers together last year. just in case!

She'll be totally fine in the small, DD was well under the recommended weight when we first started using them too.
