I don't think that's so unusual. My DD is 10.5 months and only waves on occasion. She's just starting to do it more frequently. She rarely did it at 9 months.

ITA. DD does it every once in a while and she's almost one. I don't think she was doing it at 9 months at all.

My DS really didn't get waving until he was like 11 months old I think. Same thing with clapping. Now he does both all the time. I wouldn't worry.

Both of my boys didn't wave until they were over 1... And DS 2 at 14 months doesn't do it regularly. I wouldn't stress.
