How long did your LO need a MOTN feeding?
How many months until your LO stopped need a middle of the night feeding...ie 2-3am? Did they outgrow it and at how many months? Did you do CIO?
My friends DS is 7 mos and they have done CIO 3 nights in a row an got him STTN once or twice but then he got sick they have to start it all over again. (This has happened a few times.) He does an 8 hr stretch and then sincerely seems to be hungry when he wakes up and drinks whole bottle. Ped said an 8 hour stretch is normal at this point. So keep going with this or go back to CIO and try to get him to 12 hours?

Around 6 weeks ds started sleeping 8/9 to 5
My twins I had to do CIO for ds#1 around 4.5 months for the month prior he was sttn no problem.

I fed my DD in the middle of the night until she was 18 months.
DS is 6.5 months, and I still feed him twice (usually) a night

At 5.5 wks, DD would go from 11:45pm - 7am. We did not do CIO. We just started giving her formula at 11pm which seemed to keep her satisfied.

DD was 9 mo and i started giving her bigger bottles before bed. Now she started to eat more of the solid foods also so I think that helps as well. Her bedtime is 8:30-9 the latest and she STTN.
But if DD only takes a bottle and refuses solids guaranteed she is up for a 2 am feeding.

DD - Dropped MOTN feedings at 8 wks and started STTN from 10pm to about 9am and then at 12 weeks she was STTN from 7:30pm to 7:30am.
DS - Has been *almost* STTN since birth. He is almost 7 weeks old and basically has his last bottle at 10:30-11pm and sleeps until about 6am.
Edit - Never did CIO with my DD. Hopefully wont have to with my DS either.

DS stopped eating in the middle of the night and started STTN at 7 weeks. We haven't done a night time feeding since.

Not every child sleeps 12hours overnight. My dd is 10 months and does not do 12 hour stretches. Never has. My peds is completely fine with it. She does about 9 hours overnight and 2 sometimes 3 1-1.5 hour naps a day. This works for us. If your child is getting the necessary sleep overall i dont think you have to force them to sleep 12 hours straight.

DD was right around a year but she was also BF. My ped told me to stop feeding her in the middle of the night (I forget exactly what age) but she still wanted to eat. I let her.

My pediatrician said she shouldn't need a MOTN feeding anymore and should sleep through the night but my DD still wakes up once or twice a night for a feeding. I tried CIO and it has not worked. She cried for 3 hours straight one night and it was heartbreaking. So I feed her now. She goes right back to sleep when I do. Unfortunately it is usually 2 am and then 5 am but whatever... it has to go away eventually, right?

DD still nurses once at night most nights at 12 months. I'd prefer to wait it out then do CIO. There's no one rule that will work for every baby.

This is what I did too and continued until they were 10 months. I dd CIO and it took 2 days-about 20 mins each time
