Stomach Bug? Please help

DD has had a tiny runny nose (but no fever) for a few days, honestly, we chalked it up to allergies because it only happens when we are outside. She does, however, have a little cough at night (I think post nasal) but nothing too crazy.

Fast forward to this morning and she woke up with a 102+ fever. I tried to give her motrin to which she vomited EVERYWHERE

She's pretty much been a lump all day (hasn't vomited since) no appetite, but is drinking. She said her throat doesn't hurt.

Then, I noticed she has a little rash on her butt (like red dots) Only a few and does not look like the Scarlet Fever rash.

Any thoughts? We are bringing her to urgentcare as soon as she wakes up (she really really needs a nap, was up super early)

Doesn't really sound a like a stomach virus. Motrin on an empty stomach can make them vomit. It may be viral. DS had a viral infection a few weeks ago that started off with a slight cough and runny nose and he ended up with 104 fever on and off for 4 days... Just keep her hydrated and try Tylenol..

Doesn't sound so much like stomach bug but may be virus. My 21-month-old woke up last week with 104.7 rectal temp. Saw her pediatrician twice last week because she looked terrible but was just irritable, feverish, no appetite. We thought it may have been coxsackie but never turned into blisters/sores. Doc said it was some adenovirus or some virus but it took a good 4-5 days, then my son got it, then I got it. My stomach was off so I imagine it could be something similar. Good luck
