Formula and bottles
Why cant I find bottles with lids? Every bottle only comes with the nipple and cap.
How are you making formula? We only have the 5 oz Medela bottles with caps but theyre not big enough. I need bigger bottles with lids so I can shake the powder without it going all over the place.

I have the dr brown's pitcher to mix. We used the dr brown's bottles with dd1 and bought caps for them. DD2 we are using playtex drop ins, and use the dr brown's to mix, , measure, and heat up.

Formula and bottles
I used the Playtex Ventaire bottles and was able to mix them up with the nipple and cap on. It didn't go all over. But I highly recommend the Dr. Brown's pitcher. Life was so different after we discovered it.

We had this too. Made life much easier. Also, we used Playtex Drop Ins and I would mix right in the bottle when we were on the go.

Hmmm, I've always just put my finger over the hole in the nipple and shook the bottle over the sink, never had an issue....

Dr Browns and Born Free come with little discs that you can put in to help prevent leaking.
When I was out and about though, I usually brought a bottle of water, a packet (or separator) of formula and empty bottles.

Born free glass come with lids.
We used to use drink mixer, a big metal stick basically. Worked like a charm and not too many bubbles.

Dr browns brand sells lids that should fit on any bottle (they have both standard size and wide size)

Thank you all! And I just ordered the Dr Browns pitcher! Shaking the formula is a WORKOUT! Hope this thing makes it faster and easier!

Dr. brown has the lids for inside the cap. I would just put the water and formula in and shake. It was so easy!
