Preggo crashing with a ?

Can you tell me what brand of bottles you use with your LO? There are so many kinds that it's overwhelming!

I'm looking for something BPA free. Anybody use Dr. Browns? I heard they were good.

I use glass Born Free. both of my dcs preferred wide neck bottles

We have used Born Free with no issues. They are easy to clean too.

Tommie Tippee--I used them with #3 and loved them. I used Avent with my older two, and had frequent leaking issues.

I used Dr. Browns with DD1- I liked them, but HATED all the pieces!!

I used Avent for DD2 and liked them much better.

I use playtex ventair. I love them. We used avent first and the bubble would build up and get swallowed. Bubbles never build up with these bottles. A few easy to clean pieces. IMO it's the perfect bottle. They only leak if I didn't put it together right which is rare.

I used Born Free for DS 1 and Dr Browns for DS 2 and was happy with both of them.

The only issue I had with Dr Browns was that I didn't use the wide neck bottles and I used powdered formula and mixed directly in the bottle so I often made a mess.

I use Dr. Browns also and DD has never had an issue with them. They are a PITA to clean - so many parts (we do not have a dishwasher).
I would suggest buying a few different kinds to see with one your LO takes to.

I wouldn't register/purchase too many bottles because as you see every baby has different likes.
I've tried dr browns, born free, avent and similac...dd was very gassy with them. For her, playtex ventair works best.

I started out with Tommee Tippee based on a lot of good reviews.
But DD had really bad gas, colic, etc.
Ped suggested switching to Playtex drop ins. We were able to push all the air out of the bag so that she swallowed less gas.
I also loved how easy they were- just toss the liner.
He also recommended Dr Browns for gas issues, but it had so many parts to clean and I couldn't be bothered!

I guess there is no easy answer here lol.

I think I will end up picking up a few and see what works best for our LO.

Thanks for all the suggestions, it really helps narrow my choices down!

Started with Avent and they leaked. DS was fussy and had trouble burping and we switched to Dr. Brown's and they were the best! Even with the million pieces, which I hand-washed, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

We used Dr. Browns and never had any issues.

ETA: Cleaning them is a gigantic PITA though. But, I'd still use them again.

i used the Medela bottles because i had the pump but switched to dr browns. i like the dr browns much more

I started out with Dr. Brown's too, but it became too much of a pain to constantly clean all the parts, so I ended up switching to Medela wide-necks. I was pumping, so this worked out better for me as I could pump directly into the bottles.

only use dr brown's if you have a dishwasher.

We used Dr brown's for dd1 but dd2 was having gas issues so we switched to playtex drop ins and the are awesome. So much less to clean and they really helped her.

Do not buy to many at once. Maybe get 1 of -3 brands to try with LO then buy more.

I started with Dr Browns due to reflux issues but switched to Playtex drop-ins by the time he was 6 months and the reflux was gone.

I went thru several different types of bottles but settled on playtex drop ins because they were a million times easier. Dr Browns has like 5 parts to clean. With the drop ins you really only need to clean the collar and the nipples and occasionally clean the bottle itself. For me with twins it was much easier to do drop ins than any other system.
