Islip Town Beaches
The post about the summer got me thinking about going to the beach-where does everyone go? I took my son to Corey beach twice last summer and I found it to be really dirty. There was garbage blowing in the wind, tons of cigarette butts in the sand. I felt like I was walking through a trash can.
Any recommendations for a small beach that is clean? Also, has anyone been crabbing in the area? We went crabbing in CT and I would love to do that with my son here.

Islip Town Beaches
We usually go to Islip Beach at the end of South Bay Ave., but they are closed because they had damage from the hurricane. Hopefully it will open soon! We love it there. It's small and has a really cute playground.

Islip Town Beaches
I have gone crabbing at Sayville Marina, I believe you can go crabbing at Bay Shore Marina as well.

Sayville Beach at the end of Foster Avenue. They have a cute playground there as well.
