"Me" time and feeling guilty
Help me not feel guilty!!!!
Ds is almost 6 weeks and I have 2 year old twins..to say our life is busy is an understatement!
About to put everyone down for a nap and we have about 100 things that need to be done and all I want to do is go for a run...alone! I just feel so guilty knowing there is so much to do.
How do you get past it?

Chores can wait... You are good to no one if you are run down and not feeling energized! 100% you should get out and have "me" time!

go for the run. you will feel better, less stressed and you will be SO much more productive as a result (happier as well, so everyone else will be too)

I am glad you took time for you. It is so incredibly important to recharge as a mom. I feel that if you are not at your best, you can;t give your best to your family. If you need a moment for you, and have someone to help go and take it. The chores will always be there - they never end - but you will be able to deal with them in a better frame of mind when you have a minute or two for you.
