Good allergist
Please recommend your child's allergist. DD has had croup 3 times since January on top of other breathing issues. I am looking to find an allergist in suffolk county.

I also prefer to steer clear of meds if possible so I am looking for somebody with a more "holistic approach" if at all possible

We tried several allergists before we found the one that we LOVE and has done AMAZING things for our child with severe allergies. We are in mid/eastern suffolk and drive all the way to Syosset to see him bc I love him that much.

we use Dr. Strauss as well, and we love him. he is not a med pusher. not sure the whole holistic route, but he went through our options with DS and said it was up to us, but gave his opinion on what he thought was our best route

We use dr. Shuval at stonybrook She used to be at lij and just recently switched. She has come highly recommended by several people. She is great.
