Cosco Scenera Seat

For anyone who has this seat, hope you can help me out-- We are going to rent car seats for our trip to FL, and this is what the baby rental place has.

I would get one RF for DS, who is 15 months and 22;bs/

DD (who is 4 yrs old) is still in a 5 pt harness, and I would prefer her in something like this, as opposed to a high back booster without latch, etc. She is 41" and like 38/39lbs. WIll this seat be comfy enough for her??

I am concenred with the booster with belt positioner because she may be napping in car, so I want her to be comfy and secure.

I have it in our truck for AJ. she fits fine.. we've had it for her since 3 and she'll be 5 in august and is still using it.

The Scenera maxes out at 40lbs, clothed weight, so she is already outgrown by weight, and at the height you have listed, she may already be too tall depending upon whether or not she is leggy or has a long torso.

If you are willing to buy a seat for your travels, the Evenflo Maestro is a harnessed seat that is about $60-70ish and only weighs 10lbs. Or, you could look into a ride safer travel vest, they have no expiration so you could use it for both your DC. The small is 30-60lbs and turns a regular seat belt into a 5 pt harness. They're about $125. Your other option is a high back belt positioning booster.

My dd is going o be 4 and she is 36 pounds. We have this seat and we are currently looking to get her a new bigger seat. She just doesn't look comfy anymore.
